INSIDE Bournemouth’s Stadium Transformation. Less Than Two Weeks Remain

INSIDE Bournemouth’s Stadium Transformation. Less Than Two Weeks Remain

AFC Bournemouth’s stadium redevelopment is moving at pace – but with the Cherries set to host Everton on Saturday 29th August, the race is on to get Dean Court ready.

In this latest stadium update, I take a look around the ground to see just how much has changed over the past week.

From the rapidly developing north-west and south-east corners, new pedestrian routes and the outside broadcast compound, to fresh cladding, fencing, landscaping and a much clearer car park, progress is being made everywhere you look.

Inside the stadium, the pitch is looking fantastic, with autonomous GPS technology completing the line markings in a matter of minutes. The new dugouts and tunnel are in place, perimeter astroturf has been laid, while plenty of work is continuing behind the scenes in the hospitality areas.

There is still lots to do, though. With concrete, steelwork, turnstile canopies, accessibility platforms, pedestrian routes and internal finishes all requiring attention, the big question remains…

Will everything be ready in time for Bournemouth vs Everton?
