FORFEIT! A 60 Mile Walk from Dean Court to St Mary’s (And Back!)
In March, Ben Phillips from Back of the Net’s TikTok decided to put his AFC Bournemouth optimism on the line by suggesting Cherries would beat Manchester City to advance to the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
They didn’t.
As a part of his forfeit, he said he’d walk from Vitality Stadium to St Mary’s, and then make the return journey the next day – a near 60 mile walk. He decided to raise money in memory of his grandpa – Ian Davis, who used to play for AFC Bournemouth, who passed away in November 2024 after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
