Unique Harry Redknapp Painting Up For Auction

Unique Harry Redknapp Painting Up For Auction

Cherries fan Rob Trent is auctioning off a mouth-painted portrait of Harry Redknapp in his mission to raise funds for the Urology Department at Southampton General Hospital.

A lifelong AFC Bournemouth supporter, Rob can often be seen home and away on every match day. He has been having treatment at Southampton General Hospital for bladder tumours for the past three years and he wanted to repay his thanks to the department via a series of online auctions.

Rob said: “I’ve been ever so grateful to the urology department for treating me and looking after me so well, and my way of paying them back was to paint these three portraits of Harry Redknapp, Ian Bishop and Super Fletch, and try and auction them off and raise some money”.

“No treatment is going to be wonderful, but everyone involved in looking after my health has been absolutely superb, and this is my way of saying thank you and giving something back. There are so many people there that have been wonderful to me, and I think at a time when things looked really bleak, they’ve seen me through some really bad times”

The Harry Redknapp portrait is dedicated to the infamous former Cherries player and manager, who scored eight times forest in 175 appearances and took Bournemouth into the old Division 2 for the very first time in our history.

The current bid is at £250, but you can keep track of the latest bids via Rob’s Twitter/X account, as well as a dedicated thread on the Vitals Bournemouth forum. To make a bid, email Rob on robtmfpa@gmail.com by Friday (May 31st 2024) at 5pm.
