Given Ranieri’s recent dismissal, Sam successfully baits Sean to question Eddie Howe’s tenure at the Cherries. The boys also discuss the recent loss at WBA, the fans reaction to Artur Boruc, the ensuing relegation dogfight, and preview the forthcoming Man United trip.
Michael Dunne kicks off by bringing us his match report of Cherries 2-1 loss at the Baggies and, after the fan thoughts, Sam and Sam discuss events at the Hawthorns. We also take in the weeks Online Review, which goes over the tweets and forum posts during the ninety minutes at West Brom – where it went from agony to ecstasy.
The boys then briefly go over events further afield, discussing the Leicester situation. Claudio given the boot, and then his players rock up and win 3-1 – who is to blame for the demise of the Foxes this season, and at what point would a managerial change ever be considered at AFCB? Yes Sam is playing devils advocate, but that’s his job right?
You may have seen recently that Cherries have another three TV fixtures which have been announced, however, before those games though, there’s another televised tussle to contend with, and that is on Saturday versus Manchester United at lunchtime – and the lads will preview this encounter!
However as ever, we kick off with Do You Remember, and like last week, we stay relatively “recent”, as we hear the commentary of a match involving the Cherries, but can you tell us what match it was?
Back of the Net is a FREE AFC Bournemouth podcast, our hosting however – is not. We rely on donations and sponsorship to fund the time it takes, the recording software, and the web hosting, amongst many other things. You can show your support by sending us a couple of quid, sponsoring the weekly podcast, or buying an Eddie Had a Dream T-Shirt!
