Despite Cherries 2-0 home loss to the Sky Blues, there’s optimism ahead of our hike to the Hawthorns, so Sam and Michael discuss events on the pitch, and also express the joy felt off it, as Harry Arter and partner Rachel introduced baby Raine to the world. Plus, we’ll give a brief word on PIEGATE!
With Sean away, it seems Dean Court optimism has outdone pessimism for the first time in a long while. Yes we lost, but there were some green shoots of encouragement there, so Michael will sum up the best of the action in his match report, and then we’ll also hear from the fans in the Fan Thoughts.
The two D’s (that’s Dunne and Davis) go on to share their our own thoughts about the game before taking in the Club News, which this week features Harry Arter, Josh King, our own podcast plans for next season.
It has been interesting week in football. You’ll recall a few weeks back where Michael romanticised about the cup, only for us to get knocked out to Millwall – and this last weekend, we had a break due to aforementioned tournament. Whilst it is irrelevant for us, tell that to the people of Lincoln and Sutton – it’s been a crazy few days where Burnley got knocked out at the hand of the mighty Imps and then Sutton ran Arsenal close – only for the whole plucky effort to be undermined by the over-zealous media reaction over a man who tucked into a pie. Michael and I will discus the events gone by!
We then go on to preview our next match against West Brom – however, before all that – it’s time for a bit of Do You Remember? And this week, we will make it accessible to all, as it is fairly recent. Two goals are featured, and we just want you to tell me the game they were scored in!
Back of the Net are RECRUITING! Listen to our podcast for more information, as we’d LOVE you to be involved next season!
